Memeing Sign-Holding-Biden

It's been a pretty shitty week for America, all things considered.

Inflation is through the roof, having gone up by 5.4% in July compared to last year and cost of living expenses seem to be impacting Americans who are already licking financial wounds inflicted by a year of lockdown upheaval:

Then you have Afghanistan, where the Taliban has re-captured large portions of the country about a month after Biden said "‘the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely."

I'm not going to even get started on the crisis at the border, which saw 212,672 migrants taken into U.S. custody in July - the highest number of illegal border crossings in 21 years. Suffice to say that's bad and disgraceful as well.

What was Biden's response to the chaos erupting around him? Well, he hasn't made any statements on the Taliban retaking Kandahar, the second largest city in Afghanistan. Instead, he left for Delaware yesterday, without taking questions, plans to spend the weekend at Camp David and has previously scheduled vacation next week. Thank GOD the adults are back in charge!

I guess I can't really complain, though. . . I did write last week that he should be kept away from children. Maybe Biden's absentee-presidency is better than the alternative, given what we know about him.

The Biden communication staff has, however, had time to post memes and TikTok videos made in conjunction with social influencers to help spread vaccine awareness.

It started on Tuesday, when this video starring this strange social influencer person (who I refuse to look up) posted this on Instagram:

If this is intended to help convince people to get vaccinated, I think it's a complete and utter failure. In fact, it's so cringeworthy that it almost makes me want to see if I can un-vaccinate myself.

If that video wasn't enough to get people an account named "dudewithsign" posted a photo of himself and Biden standing and. . . well, holding signs that encourage people to get vaccinated:

These things are ultimately harmless, but they feel so emblematic of how this White House seeks validation from the "elites" on social media. For example, nearly every day you'll find Ron Klain, Biden's Chief of Staff, on Twitter tweeting, retweeting and liking content from blue check, activist journos who shower Biden with praise. This "outreach" to social media influencers feels like an extension of that mindset - a pathetic attempt to make an 80 year old r*tard seem cool to Gen Z.

It doesn't seem likely to work, but in all fairness - I'm not the target audience and I prefer my "outreach" in the form of sardonic twitter memes mocking those in power for the incredibly stupid shit they say and do.

Thankfully, brave shit posters from the internet were there to make meme Sign-Holding-Biden and provide us with a few laughs as we head into the weekend:

Still can't believe he went around talking about this on live television.

Fuck, that's probably true.

I mean, where else would it be stored?

Reminder, Joe Biden was accused of worse than what Andrew Cuomo just resigned over and Kamala Harris said she believed his accusers.

This one might be my favorite.

So there you have it folks, its been a pretty terrible week - but what sets us apart from the Left is that we can still laugh and have fun. Let's try not and lose that quality about ourselves and let's hope that next week brings with it better news for our country and each other.

Have a good weekend and God Bless America
