Joe Biden is a Climacrite
What a surprise, Joe Biden doesn't really care about the environment.
In new reporting by The Daily Caller, Hunter Biden and associates allegedly used Joe Biden's cozy friendship with the Colombian President in a sales pitch to Chinese Energy Firm, CETC China Energy, in pursuit of a $10 million investment deal. The proposed pitch was to obtain funds for the purpose of investing in proposed oil pipelines in Venezuela and Columbia. Joe Biden's friendship with the Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos, was apparently featured prominently in the investment disclosures to entice the Chinese into business. This was merely the appetizer, though, as emails suggest that Hunter Biden sought billions in funding to pursue energy investment opportunities across the globe.
Joe Biden allegedly being involved in a deal with oligarchs connected to the Chinese Communist Party is alarming enough on its own. When considered in light of Joe Biden's political posturing it is unforgivable. Back in May of 2020, the Biden campaign's policy director, Stef Feldman had this to say about Joe Biden's position on the controversial Keystone XL Pipeline, a commissioned oil pipeline that would stretch from Alberta, Canada to Texas (from Reuters):
“Biden strongly opposed the Keystone pipeline in the last administration, stood alongside President Obama and Secretary Kerry to reject it in 2015, and will proudly stand in the Roosevelt Room again as President and stop it for good by rescinding the Keystone XL pipeline permit,”
In addition to opposing a massive infrastructure project that would go a long way to cementing and bolstering American energy independence on a global stage, and reduce the cost of powering American's lives, Joe Biden has consistently taken the position that we must wean ourselves off natural gas altogether and work towards green, "sustainable" alternative energies like wind and solar. Don't take my word for it, here is Joe Biden just last week in a campaign event (per CNBC):
“Climate change is the existential threat to humanity,” the former vice president said. “Unchecked, it is going to actually bake this planet. This is not hyperbole. It’s real. And we have a moral obligation.”
If these allegations are true and climate change is an "existential threat" to humanity, why would Joe Biden be involved in the creation of new natural gas pipelines in South America, while opposing them being built in the United States, to the benefit of Americans? What's the difference? The difference is Joe Biden stood to profit off the former and not the latter, and Joe Biden is a climate hypocrite who cares about your vote, not the environment.
