Flappr Fantasy Football Week Eight: A Shuffle Atop The Standings

Another week in the books, and there is another number one seed in the Flappr Fantasy Football League. To be fair, four teams are tied with 5-3 records to lead the league after week 8. With 4 NFL teams on a bye week, there were several backups in lineups this week.

In a matchup of two 4-4 teams, the Master Bedroom Dwellers (@Twi77erSuxDong) took on Two Scoops (@_Miller__Lite_). In this game it turned out to be 3 Rams players against 3 Buccaneers players, and the Rams got the best of it. @Twi77erSuxDong won the Flappr Top Hat Award for scoring the most points, and his 4th win in a row. @Twi77erSuxDong has also become the top rated team in the standings - and has responded like a total insufferable cunt:

@Twi77erSuxDong has literally been pining for this blogged to be published that he's badgering people who volunteer on a free website to stop what their doing to get this out. All so he can bathe in his (likely temporary glory):

As a result, we're going to publish something that we had previously determined was too personal to share with the audience - but alas, here is a photo of @Twi77erSuxDong celebrating his new place atop the standings.

In another matchup of 4-4 teams, the Hackensack Cockles (@Travis_Tyree) played Bad Mans (@snakebro7). The Cockles have won 2 in a row, and find themselves leading their Division. Leroy dropped his fourth game in a row, mostly because he left an injured player in his lineup. He wins the Flappr Forgotten Man award for not putting Adam Thielen and his 19.8 points in the lineup. Well, it worked for Stephanie. I’m sure we can pass the hat around for a reward.

The league had one more game that saw two 4-4 teams meet. The Italian Defense League (@michcusejac5) played M.I.L.F (Man I Love Football) (@ElderBartleby), and the Italians put together a decent effort to win. The MILFs were not ready to play, and they scored the least points of the weekend. At least Bartleby learned a valuable lesson from the weekend.

Last week’s top team, Derrick Henry’s White Twin (@jonbrooks935) faced the Penalty Boxers (@ground_miller). The Boxers overcame some low scores from Thursday night to get the win. Unfortunately for Jon, his brother Derrick was injured early in the game and left his team short. Now he faces the prospect of his top draft pick missing the rest of the season. Maybe if he renames as Josh Allen’s Twin he can get some beer.

In the final game of the weekend, Stephanie’s Amazing Team (@Stephanieco15) took on the Fugly Slots (@balling_it). Stephanie got a huge performance from her wide receivers, and coasted to a win. Rumor has it that Stephanie is going to get a pedicure to celebrate.

The Fugly Slots have had just about every bit of bad luck they could have. They were projected to be 3rd overall after the draft.

And here’s the real standings after 8 weeks. We have a lot more parity in the league overall.
